Douai by Gustave Crauck (1865) is one of 12 smaller stone figures representing French destinations. They are on the façade of the railway station.

Marble statue of Diane in Jardin des Tuileries close to the Louvre.
Diana is standing with only a thin cloth partially covering her hips and her arrows hanging at her side. She looks down to her slender hunting dog who sits to her right.

Dick the English boy is one of 21 bronze statues created by Rachid Khimoune under the concept of Les Enfants du Monde (Children of the World). The statues have been installed in Parc de Bercy in 2001. The statues are made from reused industrial metal items with different textures welded together.
The statue is larger than life.
Dick's face is made from a recycled round manhole cover from London. His eyes are the holes used to insert a rod to lift the cover. His mouth is tinted red and shows the words Borough Council.

The statue 'Monument to the students who died during the Resistance' (1956) by Gaston Watkin stands close to the Sorbonne.
The sculptor took his inspiration for the statue from a Partisan song ' Ami, si tu tombes, un ami sort de l'ombre et prend ta place' (Friend, when you fall, a friend will step out of the shadow and take your place).

Eve is one of a group of three sculptures by Auguste Rodin at the terraces of the Orangerie in Jardin des Tuileries.
He created Eve in 1881, showing her as a woman having given into temptation.
She holds herself, at the same time pushing away something with one of her hands.
Her right leg stands on the ground, her left foot leans against a rock.
She stands next to L'Ombre.
